31st March 2007 at St Dunstan's, Woking
The main work was Mass in C by Beethoven, a wonderful setting of the mass which has always dwelt unfairly in the shadow of his mighty Missa Solemnis.
The supporting works were:
- Non Nobis Domine by Roger Quilter (1877-1953). This is a short setting of a text by Rudyard Kipling, composed for the Pageant of Parliament at the Royal Albert Hall in 1934.
- Three short pieces by Kenyon Emrys-Roberts (1923-1998), whose widow Jenny is a member of the soprano section. These were a short Organ Fanfare, followed by a Choral Introit, Praise Our God and concluding with Ken's beautiful anthem How Do I Love Thee?
